Every month I help lead the Orange County Fast Track Group, a group of photographers that get together to support and learn from one another. We’ve actually been meeting for a year now. Time flies! So this month I had them all over to my place for an anniversary/Christmas party. There were a lot of people in my little house, but it was full of laughter and great people! Man I love these people!

Why is it that people always end up hanging out in the kitchen?

John Loyola brought me a little hostess gift. He knows how much I love Glee!

And the awesome Shaun Austin brought over a photo booth. Oh man, do I love a photo booth. And so did everyone else. What a blast!

Orange County Fast Track/FEO group

A few months ago, Dane asked me if I would be interested in leading a group in Orange County for photographers. It would be based on some of the Fast Track principles, mostly that we would be committed to creating a community of creatives who are “For Each Other”. At first we called it a FEO group, but it was quickly pointed out to us that feo means ugly in Spanish so……. we opted for “Fast Track Group” instead!

We have had four meetings and so far…. it’s awesome! The group of photographers that have been showing up, ready to grow and share are amazing! I’m so impressed by them. Instead of having a speaker I facilitate a discussion on certain topics like, pricing and branding and such. This past month we broke up into smaller groups and each person had some time to share about themselves and to show off some of their work. We were so inspired and encouraged by one another and left feeling like we got to know one another that much better. I love this group!
