Outdoor weddings are my favorite. But they are always a little risky. Not as much in Southern California as in other parts of the country, but risky none the less. Matt & Ashley’s ceremony was supposed to be outdoors at the Turnip Rose, but it was raining cats and dogs so things got changed around a bit. And because of several different circumstances we only had about five minutes to take photos of the two of them.
So after they got back from their honeymoon we decided to do a “day after” shoot. It was so fun doing a shoot with a couple whose wedding I’ve already shot. I don’t get to do that very often. There’s a different level of comfort we’re able to have since I’ve done their engagement shoot and I’ve been through the entire wedding day with them. I love Matt & Ashley! And San Juan Capistrano is always a great backdrop for photos.
